Saturday's Frame Show & Tell at Allendale Park: Bring a custom built frame or bike you think might be of interest for a group discussion. Coffee and donuts will be provided for breakfast and pizza and soft drinks for lunch. The attendance fee for the Symposium will be $10 per person.
Sunday's Vintage Bike Show at Allendale Park: Please remember to bring a floor stand to display your bike. There will be people present to guard your bikes at the picnic area while you are on the morning ride. Judging of the bikes will be done by the entrants; their first, second and third choice for best bike at the show will be tallied. Any criteria for judging the bikes can be used, however you cannot vote for your own bike. There will also be awards for Best North American, Best British, Best Italian, Best French, Best Lugs, Best Paint, Best Restoration, Best Original, Best Neo-Classic and Most Personality to be decided by a group of judges. Catered BBQ lunch will be provided.
The Parts Exchange will be conducted in a low-key manner (just one or two boxes of material, preferably one) since we will be in a picnic area of a city park.
Please do not plan on dropping by Sunday "to just take a quick look at the bikes" with the intention of not paying Sunday's admission price. Even though this is a public park, a permit with the Pasadena Parks Department has been secured which makes the park's picnic area closed to the public for this event. No exceptions will be made!
The Entry Fee for Saturday's Frame Show & Tell, which includes coffee & donuts in the morning and pizza for lunch, is $10. The Entry Fee is $45 for Sunday's Vintage Bike Show, which includes a catered BBQ lunch with admission. Pay before September 12th and the entry fee is $35. Note: If you are paying by check, please make your check payable to Chuck Schmidt.
Very important: If you are planning on attending Sunday, I would greatly appreciate an email notification so I can plan the amount of food and beverages with my caterer.

Old Town Pasadena:
Old Pasadena is today what Westwood Village was a decade ago: L.A.'s premier pedestrian neighborhood, where car-weary Los Angelenos can actually stroll, window-shop, and dine in a relaxed outdoor, urban setting. The neighborhood dates back to the 1870's and the entire district is on the National Register of Historic Places. There are over 70 restaurants in the eight block area.
